Born and raised in France, Floanne Ankah is a professional actor and voice-over artist based in New York City since 2000. Her sound is authoritative yet approachable, with a clear, pure and sensual quality. She speaks in French (Parisienne), or English (American) with a light European flavor. She is experienced recording in English from a subtle global accent to a thicker French dialect.

She has recorded for toys, website and DVD training programs, looping for film, industrial videos (including with lip-sinking), animations, narrations, video presentations, children's books and more. Freelancing for agencies, such as CESD Talent Agency and Arcieri & Associates, she is a member of the performer unions SAG and AFTRA. She was trained at the mic with Maggie Philipps and Noel Short, and is the assistant to top voice-over talent Frank Simms.
